Is there any way to recover the control password inside TuneUp Utilities 2012? Apparently I have forgotten the password query which enables to carry out most of the tasks in TuneUp Utilities 2012.

The best thing to do right now is to uninstall the product because there isn't a way to reset/remove the password. If you can't uninstall it, use Revo Uninstaller. Even if it can't uninstall the application normally, it will force it to uninstall by wiping out all traces of its presence from the system.

Open TuneUp Utilities Start Center and then you can start TuneUp Update Wizard which will guide you through the update process. If there are updates to your application, TuneUp will connect to the update servers and download the package automatically.

Try using Revo Uninstaller. Even if it can't uninstall the application normally, it will force it to uninstall by wiping out all traces of its presence from the system.

After that, try running AdwCleaner to make sure that there are no leftover rogue registry keys or toolbars in your system.

I have tried to update this program but I can't delete the old version. For some reason it's difficult to delete it. I can't install the new software without removing the old one. Can you help?
